There are multiple ways to reduce your premium up to 10%. First, become a member of COPA. It is a fantastic resource for all Cirrus pilots to connect with other owners, learn, and become a better pilot. Research shows that pilots engaged with their owner and pilots association have fewer accidents. Second, maintain a high level of proficiency by completing three educational or training events each year. If you’re an existing Cirrus pilot meeting the minimum requirements for Cirrus Vision Jet insurance, it’s easy to qualify as you move up from your SR series aircraft. You will receive straight forward underwriting from the only direct- to- consumer underwriter for the Vision Jet. We will provide you with a quote and coverage options in as little as 15 minutes. No waiting.
If you are an existing 5X5 customer, we can quickly offer coverage options. No one else in the industry can provide this level of service to a Cirrus pilot. If your SR20 insurance or SR22 insurance is from 5X5, call us and we can let you know what it takes.
-
Of course. This is a natural step up as no additional FAA certificates or ratings are required for most Cirrus pilots. 5X5 will require you to train with an instructor approved by the respective owners and pilots organization, and 5X5 will ask you to become an active member of either PMOPA or TBMOPA. We find that pilots engaged with their aircraft’s OPA are safer and better equipped for high-performance aircraft like these amazing planes.
