5X5 Insurance Services, LLC supports two methods to share the avionics data from your insured aircraft:  Manually copying the flight data files from your avionics SD card to the 5X5 Customer Portal and automatically using AirSync™.

To manually upload data you will need a PC with an SD card reader or an SD card adapter and Internet connection.  When uploading data files manually, 5X5 requires data to be shared every 30 days.  To make this easy and efficient, simply copy the files at the same time you are updating the databases (each 28 day cycle).

  1. Log in to your 5X5 Insurance Customer portal at:  5X5 Insurance

    1. Click on the menu option at the top left

    2. Select Flight Uploads from the menu

    3. Click on the drop down menu to select the Nnumber of your aircraft

  2. In the aircraft cockpit

    1. Remove the SD card from your top slot on the MFD (multi function display)

    2. Insert the SD card into your SD card reader on or connected to your PC

    3. From your file manager, select all files (usually by holding the Control and A keys simultaneously)

    4. Drag those files from your SD card to the Drag and Drop Files Heres on the 5X5 Insurance Customer portal

  3. Be patient as it may take a minute or two depending on the speed of your WiFi connection

  4. Once the file upload is complete, replace the SD card in your avionics system

If you have AirSync, there is a one time configuration and then your data flows automatically.  This is the easiest and best way to share your data with 5X5 Insurance Services, LLC and a large number of other partners enhancing your ownership experience.

  1. Ensure that your AirSync box is installed and configured in the aircraft

  2. Log in to your AirSync account and select 5X5 Insurance Services, LLC from the drop down box called Services

  3. Click on the checkbox to “Enable Service”

  4. Then click on the command button to Authorize Service

Thats it!  Extremely simple and quick to do.
